This deck is inspired from the skateboard magazine Thrasher and its logo. Andrew Reynolds co-created Baker Skateboards in 2001 with Jay Strickland, and he was riding for Birdhouse when he received the Thrasher Skater Of The Year award in 1998. This graphics, that can be seen as a tribute, was first released during the mid 2000s but didn’t have the Baker logo under Reynolds’ name. These first editions of this Thrash Name graphic had different color variations alongside the classic gold on black, with a red on leopard and green on cheetah background. For this 2013 edition, sequins have been added over the gold part.
