This deck is a tribute to the Chad Muska Silhouette board that was released in 1997 by Shorty’s Skateboards. We can notice a few differences between the two graphics. One letter have been replaced on the vertical name, from “Muska” to “Moska”. The Girl logo with the name’s skater is at the bottom of the deck, but there wasn’t any in the Shorty’s one. Finally, the black silhouette is showing Mike Mo Capaldi seated on his board, pretty much like the Chad Muska silhouette but without the phone in hands. The original graphics made by Shorty’s was designed by Tony Buyalos, and has become an iconic graphic over the years, if not the most iconic graphic of the 90s. The Moska pro model have been released three years after Mike Mo Capaldi turned pro for Girl, in 2008. It’s really rare when his full name is displayed on board models, it usually only says Mike Mo.
